When building various applications, we use the BINDAPI() function to fetch data from a connector and bind it to the selected control. The data is fetched from the Connector configured, may it be a DB Connector or any other Custom API.
While setting up the API we can provide conditions to When to execute. This enables you to write a condition that results in TRUE/FALSE to decide whether to execute this action or not.
This option is available while data binding to control using any connector.
Using When To Execute
In the above media, you can see that we have provided a condition in When To Execute of showing the details in the table grid control from the database when the condition is true.
This is particularly useful when your connector accepts multiple input values and you want to execute them when all pre-defined conditions are true only, then that connector should be called. This also avoids unnecessary calls, improving app performance.
