Preview mode cannot show data from the widget

I have a widget and output textHighlight = ‘xxxxxx’
I import it to another app and set textHighlight into the input text, but preview mode cannot show data on the input

It shall be greatly helpful if you can share some more details about you case, for instance, screenshots of widget configurations, input-output variables, child control(s), etc. Once I am able to reproduce the same/similar behavior, I will file this with the concerned team.
