Your Workflow UI has a fresh new look.
Why the new Workflow UI?
When building your Studio apps, you have been using the workflows to create various automated tasks like updating sheets, sending a notification on completion of an action, and even the input and approval tasks. We had a very nice and simple workflow UI there and you have loved it. However, you would have seen that we have been providing several new features and capabilities to design different action events. Thus we felt the need to provide a new look to the Workflow UI which is categorized based on task types. It is an ongoing activity to provide a range of capabilities and features hence the need to simplify our Workflow UI further. Do have a look.
Where will you find it?
The method to add the workflow is the same. In the Micro App, select Workflows to add the workflow to the specific Screen.
Now if you see the workflow tasks that you can carry out, the tasks are categorized as Manual Tasks, Logic Task, DronaHQ Services, Custom API connectors, Custom DB Connectors, and Third-Party connectors. These are self-explanatory task types and you can rest assured that there would be new tasks added in the near future.
How can you use the Workflow?
Under Workflows, select the screen to add the workflow to and click + (add) to create the workflow. Add the workflow name and click Save.
The Workflow gets added to the Screen. Now to add the different tasks that you want to carry out, select the workflow to open it. Here you can see the different types of tasks categorized as Manual Tasks, Logic Task, DronaHQ Services, Custom API connectors, Custom DB Connectors, and Third-Party connectors.
We are sure this gives you additional capabilities to configure the app with different integrations. In case you have any thoughts, suggestions, or feedback? We’d love to hear from you. Head to our forum to share your thoughts in our Suggestions Section.
