A Date Time Picker column type can be used to easily enter date and time to a cell by selecting it from a dropdown widget. It can be used to store fields like a project’s start date and time and end date and time.
To automatically enter the current date and time in the cell you can use the Now button present at the bottom left of the widget.
You can change the format of the date, time, and select the time zone to be used.
There are four formats in which you can display the date. They are:
Friendly format: Month DD, YYYY
US format: MM/DD/YYYY
European format: DD/MM/YYYY
ISO format: YYYY-MM-DD
You can change the format of the time displayed (12 hours or 24 hours) by clicking the format option in the properties and then selecting the desired format.
You can either select UTC or local as the time zone to display the date and time.
The sort option can be used to sort the rows from first to last or last to first based on the value of this column. Read more about sort here.
You can use conditional formatting to better visualize the entries in each cell. For more details on conditional formatting options, you can refer to this.
